Your beloved fur baby has come on holiday with you, but the important question is, where are you allowed to take them? You’re in a world-famous wine and produce region, so of course you’ll want to wander the vineyards and sample a few wines, plus eat a little gourmet cheese and chocolate, and sip a coffee here and there. After all, it would be sacrilege not to.

We’ve done the hard work and present to you 25 of the most popular dog friendly venues in the Margaret River region.

Busselton

One of the best views in town, surrounded by pine trees, grass, and the famous jetty a few metres away. Dogs are welcome on the grass.

Prime position right in front of Busselton Jetty, The Goose is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dogs are allowed onto the terrace with their human companions.

Dunsborough

Foodies, sing hallelujah. Sit in the courtyard under the trees at one of the South West’s best restaurants and one which is on the must-visit list for every man and, well, his dog.

Stroll into town for a delicious brekky at this popular Dunsborough café. Grab a table out the front and watch the crowds pass by.

Woodfired pizza, live music, cocktails, and great atmosphere; this laidback venue will be your newest go-to. There’s nothing like enjoying a balmy evening under the hanging lights at this cool spot.

On those days when you’re itching for a big breakfast in town, head to Cafe La Lah where you can eat outside with your dog and then wander the boutique shops in town after.

Pizzas fresh from the oven and beer on tap. Follow it up with a leisurely stroll to the Dunsborough Foreshore just metres down the road.

Lounge about under the tall trees at a bench or on the grass, enjoying a brew lovingly made by these bona fide coffee wizards.

Eagle Bay and Bunker Bay

Indulge in a beachside bite at this exquisitely located café. Come for a long lunch or weekend breakfast on the deck, then relax with a full tum and the warm sun on your face.

Outstanding food, outstanding view; there’s a reason Wise is a crowd favourite. Find a table in the courtyard with the open grass nearby for your pet to stretch their legs and have a frolic.
