The team behind WA favourite BODHI Spa has opened an exciting new venture in the Margaret River region. The sumptuous eco-luxe spa is tucked away in the quiet rural Yallingup landscape, overlooking Lake Gunyulgup (a name which fittingly means ‘resting place near water’), and just 1.5kms east of iconic Caves Road.
A fresh and modern light-filled space, BODHI Yallingup features floor-to-ceiling windows, and soothing white and oatmeal hues with pops of olive green. You’ll find yourself floating away on a heavenly cloud as soon as you step onto the property. It’s not ‘just’ a beauty retreat; there’s a clear focus on holistic treatments and working alongside nature. Skylights bring warm sunbeams into the curved central corridor, there are more than 70 solar panels on the roof, and an enormous rainwater tank that will meet all the spa’s needs.
There are six treatment rooms (five are couples’ suites), an infrared sauna, hydrotherapy baths, and a waterfront yoga/meditation studio. There’s a relaxation lounge and spa terrace, which also overlook the lake. You might even spot kangaroos hopping idly by as you sit back and soak up the chilled vibe.
BODHI Yallingup is perfect for a girls’ weekend away, couples’ retreat, or pregnancy pampering, as the rooms are mostly doubles and you have a chance to unwind in the lounge and chat about your experience afterwards before you’re nudged back to reality.
