Forest Adventures in the Ludlow Forest is a popular high ropes and flying fox course for all ages, and Bunbury’s Dolphin Discovery Centre is well worth a visit to get up close to wild dolphins. There are a number of national parks and forests nearby to explore, hike, or bike and plenty of wildflowers in season.

Popular Capel Vale Winery is a stone’s throw away and visitors can enjoy wine tasting and wine flights in the cellar door, or grazing platter or matched plate lunch in the restaurant overlooking the vines. The National Trust’s Wonnerup House towards Busselton near the Ludlow Tuart Forest and Vasse Estuary wetlands was originally a house and school belonging to the Layman family and provides a powerful reminder of the isolation and struggles of the early settlers to the region.
