Nature

Gracetown is perched on a hillside with sweeping views over Cowaramup Bay where you can enjoy ever changing ocean views, spectacular at sunrise and sunset. There’s a lovely coastal walk trail out to the end of the point, whale watching in the winter months, and a safe swimming and snorkelling beach in summer, which is also dog friendly. The Cape to Cape Track passes through Gracetown and it’s possible to do shorter sections of the 123km coastal walk.

Adventure - a Surfer's paradise

Gracetown is a surfing mecca and whether you’re a beginner or a pro you can get out on a board and enjoy the swell. There are three main breaks – North Point, South Point and Huzza’s. And it’s one of local surf legend Taj Burrow’s favourite surf spots. The annual Margaret River Surf Pro sometimes hold heats at these world-class breaks. Keen fisherman will enjoy the jetty and boat ramp on the bay and if you love an adrenalin rush, try a Wilyabrup cliffs climbing and abseiling tour.

Arts & culture

Gracetown is in the heart of the Margaret River wine region, providing a wonderful base to explore local favourites including Pierro, Cullen, and Grace Farm. You’ll be spoilt for choice for cellar door tastings, winery lunches and tours, and a couple of breweries and a cidery too! Historic Ellensbrook House near Gracetown has had a recent restoration and offers free entry, art lovers will adore the Holmes a Court gallery and sculpture park at Vasse Felix winery.
