Blue whales in the bay!

With more than 70 whales sighted each week alone, including some Pygmy Blue Whales, now is a good time to head down south and view these amazing creatures.

There have been many juvenile humpback whales demonstrating tail lobbing and breaching, as well as big pods of both common and striped dolphins.

The best way to view them is to hop on whale-watching charter boat. Tours depart from Busselton and Dunsborough.

Our friends at Geographe Maritime Charters offer morning and afternoon tours departing from Port Geographe in Busselton on board their stunning 20-m long Kerra Lyn vessel.

By the way, you’re right — this isn’t a photo of a Blue Whale. Of course, they’re much bigger than the one shown here alongside the boat. In fact, they are THE biggest creatures on the planet!
