Introducing Tracks End: A rare Eagle Bay retreat

This is the latest arrival to the Private Properties collection: a renewed coastal-meets-country retreat where holidays are measured in swims, long lunches and evenings beside the fire.

Surrounded by 2.5 acres of established gardens, native bushland and towering marri trees, the home feels wonderfully removed from the everyday. It is quiet, spacious and private, with the beach only a couple of minutes away.

Tracks End brings a contemporary ease to the character of a traditional colonial home. Its wrap-around verandah, generous rooms and wood fires retain a sense of history, while the renewed interiors feel relaxed and welcoming.

It is a natural setting for holidays shared with family and friends. Mornings might begin with coffee on the verandah or an early swim at Eagle Bay. Afternoons can be spent exploring nearby Meelup and Castle Rock, visiting a local winery or simply staying put and enjoying the garden.

The temptation, however, may be to stay exactly where you are.

Back at the house, the kitchen and living spaces make it easy for everyone to come together. There is room for long lunches, quiet afternoons and evenings by the fire, as well as enough space to retreat when a little solitude is called for.

Bordering Meelup Regional Park, Tracks End offers a lovely balance between bush and coast. Dunsborough and many of the region’s wineries, breweries and restaurants are also within easy reach—but the peaceful setting may make leaving difficult.
