Once the early Swan River Colony’s market town, the village of Guildford has retained its special historic character thanks to the preservation of its many old and important buildings, such as Woodbridge House (pictured).

You can walk around the village and take in the special ambience of the place. Take a tour of the Goal and Taylors Cottage at the Guildford Museum Precinct as well as tour the courthouse complex, built in 1866, now an interpretive centre.
