Leeuwin to Yoga: What’s on in the South-West

The summer holidays are almost behind us but there are still plenty of great reasons to head down to the South-West over the coming months – including the iconic Leeuwin Concert on 9 March.

Let’s take a look at some of the key events on the region’s calendar in January, February and March 2019.

This conscious-living festival takes place at Solitaire Homestead and brings together exceptional teachers of yoga, meditation and mindfulness, from across the country.

Yoga Fest founder Heather Starr said: “I truly feel yoga and meditation should be practiced from a young age, as the benefits are astounding. With the increase in childhood anxiety and mental illness on the rise, I believe that yoga and meditation at school is the key to reducing and even eliminating these issues, which is why our proceeds go to providing South-West schools with free yoga classes.”
